Greater Ruby Valley Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture
Grants for up to $10,000 are available for education, health and nutrition, services for youth and the elderly, those living with special needs and poverty, and projects related to the arts and the environment. Ruby Valley organizations may apply. Applications due October 30, 2013. See link below for details and application:

World Water Monitoring Challenge

The World Water Monitoring Challenge is an international education and outreach program that builds public awareness and involvement in protecting water resources around the world by engaging citizens to conduct basic monitoring of their local waterbodies.  Through the challenge, participants are able to share their findings with the world.
