Training For The RVCD Stream Monitoring Program

Join us at 10 AM on Friday,
June 2nd at the Ruby Valley Conservation District office
in Sheridan (402 S Main Street) for our annual stream
monitoring training! We’ll be demonstrating how to
monitor stream discharge and water levels out in the
field in preparation for our volunteer opportunities to
visit our monitoring sites throughout the summer. It’ll be
a good chance to learn how watersheds are monitored
and why its beneficial to watch them closely. Join us!
Bring what you want to have with you while standing in
the middle of a river! You don’t actually have to carry all
your possessions into the river! That was a joke! But
come prepared!
